Shhh, we are live and haven’t told anyone yet...till now! Our 3 months of trials have ended, and we are thankful for the partnerships that have helped improve and supercharge Regit to production. It’s been a month of rebirth and slam-dunks. Here are some highlights of our very eventful month:
Tech in Asia
Out of 100+ applicants, we were among the best 7 startups selected to pitch on the arena stage - the first time Regit was introduced to a large audience of 2000+ attendees. Our founder, Cindy Nguyen braved the big stage for the very first time and you could say it was smoothly executed, as we had some big name institutions and their CEOs emailing Regit for a meeting. Negotiations are still in the works for the impressions we made at TIA, but our footprint was made and set an unprecedented path for what’s to come next…
The Journey Bootcamp
A testament to Regit being industry agnostic, our founder Cindy got invited to participate in a global bootcamp, where she travelled 11871 km to Lisbon, Portugal for R&D and spoke to 7 different brands to understand their needs and expectations of pilot programs. It was a journey that proved the growing need to eliminate the form, from hotel bookings to loyalty programs businesses struggle to keep their customer data clean. It was from these very discussions, we found our mojo - we are the forever customer platform. How? We help businesses create the continuous link to their end-users when a digital handshake is established, of course more to it than this as our current customers know. She Loves Tech Singapore
As an organisation celebrating women in tech, it was only natural that with Cindy as our founder and Regit’s reputation as a strong up-and-coming startup, we got selected for the Singapore round of She Loves Tech 2017. It was a 5-minute pitch contest against 11 other startups, with notable industry expert judges from companies such as Facebook grilling everyone with tough questions after our pitches. While we did not win, the judges provided us with valuable feedback on our platform, and all of the participants had a good time networking and learning from one another that night. Most importantly, we all celebrated the prowess of women in tech that night! Who says tech is only for men?
E27 Echelon Asia Summit 2017
Regit was selected as one of the best 100 startups in Asia to exhibit and pitch our idea at Echelon Asia Summit 2017, a large 2-day convention featuring some of the best Asian startup, tech, and investment platforms. There were lots of investors and visitors from all over the world who showed great interest in the Regit platform at our booth, and industry experts conducted talks and workshops throughout the 2 days which were highly insightful. Top that with a post-event networking party at 1 Altitude (with free drinks!), Echelon was a fruitful convention, with many businesses and VCs who kept in touch with us the day after it was over.
We knocked-out 6 other startups to win a ticket to Rise and represented Singapore. That’s right, based on live fan votes - we won the opportunity to exhibit and pitch our idea on the Breakthrough stage. This exclusive privilege allowed us to present Regit to more than 14,000 attendees at Rise and what a shining showcase for Regit. Our founder met key industry influencers from InvestHK, Cyberport, HSBC, to the alluded angel investors, to prominent family offices in Hong Kong. The city welcomed startups from around the world with open arms, some conversations only needed to be 5 minutes while others were as long as 45. Either way - feedback and excitement lures and massive follow-ups to happen in the next few days. Woohoo!

* We are working on implementing blockchain and an API to further enhance Regit’s offering to businesses
* Soon you’ll be able to make transactions/payments on Regit – registrations, purchases, or donations – with just one click.
With a payment gateway coming onboard, we are truly moving towards becoming a formless one-stop-shop for anything to do with information exchange.
